Where fine and coarse grade bath salts are single-use, these salt chunks can be rinsed, dried, and used again and again until they've fully dissolved. Himalayan Bath Salt Chunks — Why This Grade

We carry three grades of Himalayan bath salt. Here's where chunks fit:

• Fine grade — dissolves immediately, single use per bath, full mineral dispersion from the start
• Coarse grade — dissolves slowly, single use, best for extended soaks
• Salt chunks — dissolves very slowly, reusable multiple times, best for foot soaks and economical repeated bath use. The most cost-effective option per mineral soak.

If you bathe with Himalayan salt regularly, chunks are the most economical choice. A 5 lb bag of chunks used in a mesh bag can provide significantly more sessions than the same weight in fine grade salt.

How to Use Himalayan Salt Chunks

Reusable bath soak:

Place 3-5 chunks in a drawstring mesh bag and add to warm running bath water. The bag allows mineral-rich water to circulate while keeping the chunks contained. After bathing, remove the bag, rinse the chunks, and allow to dry completely before next use. Reuse until the chunks have dissolved significantly — typically 3-6 baths depending on water temperature and soak duration.

Foot soak:

Add 2-3 chunks directly to a basin of warm water, or place in a mesh bag for easier removal. Allow 10-15 minutes for initial mineral release before soaking. Foot soaks are the most popular use for salt chunks — the concentrated warm water and direct mineral contact make them particularly effective for tired feet and rough skin.

Decorative bathroom display:

Place chunks in a decorative bowl near your tub or on a bathroom shelf. In humid bathroom environments, the salt will slowly attract moisture and release a subtle mineral quality to the air — similar to the effect of a salt lamp but in a bathroom-appropriate format without electricity. Replace as chunks dissolve over time.
